Ryan Bulis and Co. set out to raise awarness of UC Davis buildings, specifically where their names came from. For my part, I took all the photos. Cowell What you are seeing is the artist, Ryan, standing in front of the Cowell building's sign wearing an oversized plaster mask of the man himself, Cowell.  Cowell Himself You can see the entrance to the building behind him.  "Come on in!" says Cowell. Particularly, I enjoy the complete functionality of the building. Cowell was one of the only individuals that actually funded the construction of the building out of pocket. Most other buildings were named after individuals in honorarium.  I really enjoy this shot. Such a positive, optimistic feeling.  Cowell with Workers Additionally, Ryan and Co. took pictures with the current workers that reside in the building. |
