jaredtolla: Iron oxide erosion
A combination of the plaster lined bowl concept and the first erosion.  Rust is the coloring device.


RIO Begin

Plaster lined bowl placed upon a sheet of steel. 


RIO Middle

The steel was lifted off the ground so that the drop of water would resonate.  The coloring of the rust is akin to blood, adding an anthropomorphic effect to the pot.


RIO end

Notice that the orb looks rather gruesome.  It is simply rust saturated clay with a plaster shell.
